Second Coronavirus Vaccine Cleared For Human Trials In India:- A couple of days ago, Bharat Biotech got approved by the Drugs Controller General of India (DGCI) and is all set for human trials in July. After Bharat Biotech, Ahmedabad-based Zydus Cadila Healthcare Ltd got a positive nod from the Drugs Controller General of India. The process of approval was fast as there is a huge need for the vaccine to be arrived in the country because of the huge rise in the number of coronavirus cases. The clinical trials will start soon. On the other side, the Union Health Ministry revised the guidelines of home isolation that will include asymptomatic positive patients in the list of mild coronavirus infected cases.

As per the records from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total number of samples tested in the country till yesterday are said to be 92,97,749. A number of 2,41,576 samples were tested yesterday alone. The total number of 19,148 cases are registered yesterday in the country and the total number of cases in the country stands at 6,04,641. The total number of deaths are at 17,834 with 434 new deaths. 3,59,859 people recovered in the country from coronavirus. India has 2,26,947 active cases of coronavirus. 59.52 percent of the patients recovered from coronavirus till date.

ICMR DG Balram Bhargava through an internal letter asked Bharat Biotech to conduct the clinical human trials in a fast track method and asked to set a deadline of August 15th for the results of the clinical trial.
