Coronavirus India Tally: Spread Unstoppable:- India is slowly racing to the top in the number of coronavirus cases. The country is in third place after the USA and Brazil. India witnessed 48,916 new cases yesterday in the country and the total tally of cases in the country reached 13,37,022. Maharashtra is on the top of the list with 3,57,117 cases and there are 9615 cases registered in the country yesterday. Around 4,56,071 people are getting treated for coronavirus in the country while 8,49,432 people recovered completely from the virus in the country. 757 people passed away yesterday and the total fatalities in the country reached 31,358.

A total number of 4,20,898 tests are conducted yesterday in the country as per the reports from the ICMR and the total tests conducted in the country till date are said to be 1,58,49,068. A number of 34,602 people were discharged from the hospitals yesterday alone in India. The death rate in the country is said to be 2.38%. Some of the states have imposed lockdown in selected districts and towns because of the vast spread of coronavirus. The spread in Andhra Pradesh has been increasing and the state reported a huge number of cases from the past one week as the conducted tests are quite high. Telangana has been reporting less than 2000 cases because of the less number of tests conducted.
