No Need of Masks for Children Below Five Years Says WHO:- The World Health Organization (WHO) issued guidelines for wearing the masks for children. The cases of coronavirus are spreading at a fast pace across the world. The World Health Organization made it clear that all the children below the age of five years need not wear the masks. The decision has been taken considering the capacity of a child with minimal assistance. The child's safety and their health are considered before taking the call. The news has been listed by the World Health Organization on its coronavirus page. There are several guidelines issued and listed on the page for children aged between 6 and 11.

WHO also said that the children should wear the masks if the virus spread is more in the region. The adult supervision along with the potential impact and the ability for the children to wear the masks should be taken into account in the cases of children. All the children aged above 12 years should wear masks and follow the guidelines that are issued for the adults. This has nothing to do with the region of transmission. All the children that are suffering from cystic fibrosis or cancer should wear the medical masks for better protection. All these cases should be assessed by the parents or the medical workers.

The total number of coronavirus cases crossed 23 million across the globe and the spread is huge in the USA, Brazil and India. The total tally of cases in India crossed 31 lakhs and the situations are alarming in most of the regions.
