TS-bPASS Will Curb Corruption Says KTR:- In a historic move, the Telangana government passed five bills in the state Assembly yesterday. KCR introduced Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Bill 2020, Telangana Abolition of the Posts of Village Revenue Officers Bill 2020, Telangana Municipal Laws Amendment Bill 2020 and Telangana Panchayat Raj Amendment Bill 2020 in the house. Telangana Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KTR said that TS-bPASS has been aimed to curb corruption in the state. This would provide relief for 95% of the applicants said KTR during his speech. KTR said that TS-bPASS is introduced to bring transparency in each and every property.
KTR said that the authorities can reject the application in 21 days if the documents are not valid and if there are any other violations. The applicants can give a declaration to allow the municipal authorities to demolish the property without prior notice if the construction is illegal or if there are any violations. KTR said that Telangana is the fastest ubranized states in the country and 42% of the population in the state are living in urban regions. KTR said that TS-bPASS can also allow speedy permissions. TS-bPASS committee is formed with District Collectors along with the Commissioner of GHMC in Hyderabad. They would review and supervise the layout applications. KTR said that stringent action would be taken if there is any delay in granting permissions for any property.
