YS Jagan Terms Temples Attack As Political Guerrilla Warfare:- A series of attacks on Hindu temples in Andhra Pradesh kept the government on a spot. The people across the state have been protesting against the government and the opposition parties slammed the AP Government for not taking steps despite of a series of attacks. The recent vandalism of Lord Rama idol in Ramatheertham triggered controversies. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy termed the attacks as 'Political Guerrilla Warfare' and he directed the AP cops to tackle the situation and take stringent action on the culprits who are involved in the attacks. YS Jagan alleged that the opposition parties are indulged in the vandalizing acts to divert the attention of the public from the welfare schemes that are launched by the government of Andhra Pradesh.
"This is a new model of political guerrilla warfare. Temples and idols ae attacked with the name of political motives. The opposition parties are diverting the attention of the people. Attacks are held on temples that are located in isolated places in the midnights where there is less population. These incidents are publicized in social media. A section of media too is publicizing this news. The opposition parties are making the best out of this opportunity. They are unable to digest the public welfare schemes that are introduced by the government of Andhra Pradesh. The idols are demolished without the fear for god. The opposition parties are keen to defame the government. We will monitor the situations carefully" told YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
