Congress senior leader KC Venugopal and state's in-charge Manickam Tagore too were present in the meeting. The Congress leaders promised to support and work under the leadership of Revanth Reddy. On the whole, Revanth Reddy got a complete backing from the high command of Congress. The party lost its trace in the state and Revanth Reddy is trying hard to bring back the glory. He has been fighting against TRS and the leadership. Congress leaders will turn active and will be focused as the Assembly and Parliament elections are nearing in 2024. Recently KCR announced that there would be no early polls in Telangana.
