Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao aka NTR, the name that Andhra Pradesh would never forget is simply because this legendary person stands as a shining example of efficient politics. A man who was against corruption and developed Andhra Pradesh and got worshiped as god by women in the state, NTR is one person that state would probably never witness. And it's no wonder to put a portrait of NTR in anyone's home. But what if such portraits hit the flexis of political parties? And that too the parties that are apparently against the party being set up NTR?
When Anna Hazare started his India Against Corruption movement, apparently some corrupted people also lent their support to Hazare publicly to ensure that by supporting an honest person, even a corrupt would be overlooked just on the principle that he supported the honest person. Now flexi row in Andhra politics seems to be of similar kind. For instance,
-
If A is an honest person
-
B is able politician and organizer of social organization founded by A
-
C is anti B and an alleged corrupt person
-
If B uses A's photograph (even for political needs), it will be justifiable as B runs the social organization founded by A
-
But if C (while criticizing B) uses A's photo (not at home) but in the society for political mileage, then it would be understandable that C wants to get a clean image in the society with the use of A's image
So, any political party should not be looked upon only because they use some good photographs. Not to forget the famous pro-verb, never judge a book by looking at its cover. So, if you just look at the photo and vote for any party without actually knowing what the party's philosophies are and the background of leaders who established the party, it would be nothing but putting your golden future in an unknown person's hand.
NTR was never involved in any cases. His aim was not to earn money. As an actor what NTR earned was unimaginable. His entry into politics was not to take revenge on someone, his political journey was filled with hardships (not for being caught in criminal cases) in his efforts to turn Andhra Pradesh the number one state in the country. If you adore NTR try to implement his policies, you don't have to implement madhyapananishedam (as you are not a chief minister and may not become one) but try to at least stop consuming alcohol and serving alcohol to your followers. We would then call you an ideal and clean person.
