Lakshmi Rai objects for media's linking her with Sreesanth simply because the media have their photographs together at IPL matches.  She says that she only worked as the brand ambassador for Chennai Super Kings in the first phase of IPL and after that, she denies any contact with any of the persons connected to IPL.  

Lakshmi Rai showed her hate for the news connecting her with the cricketer who is involved in the cases neck deep.  She said it is totally baseless to spread gossips of her having an affair with Sreesanth.   

Previously rumors were high in the air that she had a close acquaintance with the cricket captain Dhoni.  Sometimes gossips make good for actresses.  They get good publicity with that which works as a marketing strategy.  Their photographs will find prominent place in the news papers and magazines.  And they can simply say oh no it is only a friendship between us and nothing more!  

But publicity that will pull into something with legal implications!  A firm no will come out- not even we were friendly!
