Russia's chief public health doctor said on Wednesday that beyond 700 Russian schools are set to close this year due to the deterioration in the number of children of school age. Furthermore, Russia saw birth rates decline dramatically in the disordered 1990s and its demographic situation has remained negative, accompanying excess deaths than births, ever since. President Vladimir Putin preceding year urged Russians to have at least three children. The outspoken public health official Gennady Onishchenko, quoted by the Interfax news agency, they plan to close 733 schools this year. He said it is prominent to understand the reason that there aren't enough children.
That's certainly a critical warning for Russia!
