Increasing Molestations and Remedy to It

The scene of a house wife taking bath and clad in traditional wear waiting for her husband to soothe his  tired brain from tensions at work place or from outside dealings, husband presenting flowers to her and her accepting it, seems old fashioned nowadays.

Now fashion is to get attracted to outsiders particularly the beauties on the screens of the films or TV who overdo the act of attracting to make an impression on the audience so deep that many of them try to visualize them in their beloved.

When the glam girls make public appearances, the place is always crowded as they want to have closer look and touch if it is possible if not anything more than that.

It happened recently to Shweta Menon in Kerala but previously Samantha, Shriya, Bipasu Basu, Lakshmi Rai and many others faced the same problem.  Many more cases have did not come to the light as it was pardoned and forgotten by the victim.  In the case of Shweta the VIP who was having access to keep in close touch with her tried to get the pleasure of touching her although he denied it and the political party he belongs backed him in spite of the TV footage made available.

Heroines are working hard to get that attraction and business people try to buy it by paying huge sums demanded by them for the ribbon cuttings.  It became an additional income for them when they attend functions and parties.

Here the point of attraction cannot be ruled out.  That is the main factor of the entire event.  Now the question is to attract whom?  Not husband or lover but the faceless audience who show their dirty face only when they crowd and try to touch them.

It is wrong and an insult on womanhood alright but what precautions they are taking to ensure respect from them?  Only difference is the attire in the public appearances that is different from that of showing on the screen.  But, the close screenshots with minute details are imprinted on the minds of the audience.

It is common to the media to write against the behavior of the general public trying to touch the celebrity, as they cannot afford to write otherwise.

It has become a challenge to the society from the stars to attract them to the maximum level and expect saintly behavior in return from them which even modern saints are not able maintain as we see number of molestation cases of babas and gurus.  It is a ‘we seduce but you don’t get seduced’ attitude.

The remedy is to understand that woman’s role in the society is much higher than attracting a male.  The understanding should come in male as well as in the female folk.  Only that will put a check on the behavior of the people.
