Prepare To Spend 62 Crores To Make A Movie!

If you want to make a good movie with the big stars like Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, NTR and others, you have to spend at least Rs.50 crores to make it up to their image. Film Director Trivikram adds that you have to pay 12 crores as remuneration to him which is additional and that makes it Rs.62 crores in total.

As Trivikram Srinivas proved his worth again with Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daredi, it is natural that all top stars want to work with him.  As per the market law, price is fixed in accordance with the demand and supply. Trivikram Srinivas fixed his remuneration as Rs.12 crores.

It has become a money game in the film industry.

Successful directors say spend more and earn more or at least stand a chance of earning more.  A super star’s movie has to be made with a cost of Rs.50 crores now to match the image of the hero.  And other expenses in addition to the remuneration to the big star should also be matching.  Foreign trips for songs and dances, expenses on fights involving damages to buses and cars, shots from the sky from helicopter, an item song and some graphics escalate the cost than normal cost.  All this is done to balance the quality of the movie. The situations are also created by ace directors in the script that makes it necessary to spend money in large amounts.

It is a race and the movie makers are staking on it.

With such a background If a director like Ram Gopal  Varma says that a movie can be made in 7 lakhs, will there be any takers among the big stars?

No way.  Big investments make big cuts at every level!
