Bollywood's new bee Mannara Chopra said she bagged the opportunity in film, Zid because of her own talent and not for being superstar Priyanka Chopra's cousin. Mannara is popularly known as Barbie Handa and she started her filmy career in Tollywood. She is main female lead in 'Prema Geema Janta Nai' which also marked the debut of Indian Idol winner Sreeram Chandra as an actor.

Mannara said, she discussed about 'Zid' film with Priyanka and she asked her to go ahead. But Mannara added she waited for a long time to get a offer in Bollywood. About the bonding the Chopra sisters share, Mannara says she is close Parineeti and it was a typical Punjabi bonding.

Zid is directed by Vivek Agnihotri and Karanvir Sharma and Shraddha Das will be seen in other prominent roles.
