Bollywood hunk Salman Khan has topped the 2014 Forbes list of India celebrity 100, pushing behind Amitabh Bachchan and Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan. Salman has topped the charts in both fame and revenues. During October 2013 and September 2014, Salman's earnings were Rs 244 crores while Big B made Rs 196 crores and SRK managed Rs 202 crores.
This is for the first time in three years, SRK was pushed from the top slot and the reason is, he did not have a single release from the given period. While Salman has entertained with two films, Jai Ho and Kick. The latter movie was the biggest hit of 2014 and Salman's popularity grew.
Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni was ranked fourth while Virat Kohli stood at 6th position. Last year Katrina who made to the top ten list, was replaced by leggy lass Deepika Padukone who was positioned at 8.
Rajinikanth, Dhanush and quite a few stars from South made their first mark in this list.
