After Prime Minister Narendra Modi scrapped all Rs.500 and Rs.1000 notes to curb black money, everyone is facing the tough time to get new notes. In the list, our own Prime Minister’s mother joined.
Heeraben Modi visited a bank in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, on Tuesday to replace banned notes worth Rs 4500.
Heeraben was wheelchair-bound and was helped by slightly older women to the bank. She was seen smiling for the cameras after she returned her old notes.
The Prime Minister's mother was dressed in a crisp white saree and came out of the bank holding a new Rs 2,000 note.
