Talwars Released Finally From Dasna Jail:- The dentist couple, Rajesh and Nupur Talwar were finally released from Dasna jail in Uttar Pradesh on Monday evening after four years. The duo have been acquitted in a case pertaining to the murder of their only child Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj in 2008.

At the time of their release, Rajesh's brother Dinesh Talwar and the couple’s lawyers Manoj Sisodia and Tanveer Ahmed Mir were present at the jail.

“Allahabad HC's decision is a stamp on the innocence of Rajesh & Nupur Talwar. This is what they deserved,” Ahmed Mir said.

The couple’s nine-year ordeal was ended by the Allahabad High Court, by saying that given the circumstances and evidence on record, they could not be held guilty. The Talwars had been convicted by a special CBI court in Ghaziabad, in November 2013, for murdering daughter Aarushi and Hemraj and sentenced them to life. The CBI court had alleged that Aarushi was killed in a fit of rage, because they suspected her of having an affair with Hemraj.
