Pak Confirms IAF's Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman In Their Custody:- After India took a counter attack on Pakistan, their troops tried hard to attack India. A Pakistan fighter aircraft was shot down by a MiG 21 Bison and it fell on Pakistan's side. After this, India lost one MiG 21 and IAF's Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was trapped. Though Pakistan claims that they shot two air fighters and nabbed two pilots, it is clear that IAF's Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman is in their hands. A video surfaced on social media in which the Pakistani jawans were spotted attacking Abhinandan.
Indian airforce's Wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman was LUCKY that Pakistan army troops got to him in time. Few minutes delay on their part, and he would have been lynched by Angry Azad Kashmiri civilians. #PakistanStrikesBack #Kashmir pic.twitter.com/aWBn1fI4y8

A video shared by Pakistan shows a person wearing a flight suit is heard saying that he is Wing Commander Abhinandan. He is blindfolded and revealed his service number. Abhinandan Varthaman later refuses to answer any further questions and he asks if he is in the custody of Pakistan. The video was released after a press conference held by spokesperson of the Pakistan armed forces Major General Asif Ghafoor.
