Telangana RTA Announces Five Services Online:- The Telangana Road Transport Authorities (RTA) introduced several online features to keep a check for the system more transparent and accessible for the people. The citizens of Telangana can get a duplicate learning license, driving license, smart card license and badges without visiting the nearest RTA offices. The Transport Minister P Ajay launched five online services across the state. This is introduced so that there would be no role of brokers and the citizens to have access to all the services without visiting the RTA offices.
The citizens should fill the online application that is available on the RTA web portal from personal computers and smartphones. They will have to give the details of all the supporting documents online so that they would be verified by the officials through a three-level authentication process after which the citizens get the document delivered to their doorstep. Telangana RTA is using Real-Time Digital Authentication of Identity (RTDAI) to issue the documents. The smartphone of the user should be used for authentication. The service is also availed through Friendly Electronic Services of Telangana (FEST) backed by T-Appfolio and M-governance.
The name of the applicant along with father's name, address, driving license details and the learning license details should be entered along with a picture of the applicant. The picture would be checked through Artificial Intelligence (AI) based technology. All these services were made available online from yesterday on the occasion of KTR's birthday.
