Supreme Court Has One More Shock For AP Government:- The Supreme Court and the High Court of Andhra Pradesh rejected several petitions and pleas that are filed by the government of Andhra Pradesh. The Supreme Court of India today rejected the plea of Andhra Pradesh government. The government requested stay orders for the High Court's proposal to offer the Amaravati lands as house sites for the poor people of Andhra Pradesh. The apex court rejected the plea and it asked the AP Government to settle the issue in the High Court. The JAC leaders of Amaravati welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court.
The government of Andhra Pradesh issued GO no 107 to allocate thousands of acres from Amaravati to the poor people as house plots. Over 34,000 acres of land is planned to be donated by YS Jaganmohan Reddy's government. The farmers in and around Amaravati donated their lands for the construction of the capital. Several petitions are filed in the High Court regarding the move of the AP Government. This is sure a jolt for the AP Government which planned to donate thousands of acres from the capital land. With the capital being moved to Vizag, AP Government wanted to donate the lands to the poor people. Supreme Court also postponed the hearing on the three capital petition of Andhra Pradesh for Wednesday.
