Man Cheats Delhi Hotel of Rs 23 Lakhs:- A man who duped himself as an employee to the Royal family of Abu Dhabi stayed in a luxury hotel in New Delhi for four months and the bill went up to Rs 23 lakhs. He suddenly vanished and the Delhi cops are now on a look for Mohammed Sharif who is charged of fraud and theft. The management of the Leela Palace Hotel filed a complaint on Saturday and the investigation is going on. Mohammed Sharif checked in to Room 427 on August 1st and he flew away on November 20th. He also stole several valuable items from the room which had silver utensils and pearl tray. Mohammed Sharif convinced the hotel staff that he is a resident of UAE and he worked for Sheikh Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the member of royal family of Abu Dhabi.

Mohammed Sharif said that he is in India on a business trip. He also produced a business card along with other documents including a UAE resident card. Convinced with him, the hotel offered a room. The cops suspect that the documents are fake. Over his four months of stay, the hotel bill was Rs 35 lakhs and he paid Rs 11.5 lakhs. A cheque of Rs 20 lakhs was given to the staff on November 20th and he fled from the hotel. The CC cameras are used to identify Mohammed Sharif.
