An armed man in the guise of Mitt Romney reportedly robbed a Wells Fargo bank in Virginia USA.

The man who wore a mask of Mitt Romney, had weapons as he methodically approached each of the five bank tellers and took money from each of them at the Virginia bank in the suburbs of Washington D.C according to New York Daily News reports.

He later managed to successfully escape the scene before the police arrived.

The police questioned the Party City Store, where there were Romney masks on sale, right behind the bank if there were people who purchased the masks in the past few days

This is not the first of its kind politically-minded theft. Another one in 2010 had someone dress up as Hilary Clinton and address the same bank in Sterling, Virginia. It was then a Wachovia branch though.
