Girish Kote (35) resident of Bhayander (E) chopped the body of his wife Madhubanti (32) into four parts after murdering her and preserved three parts in the refrigerator and one part in the bedroom.

Thane Rural Additional Superintendant of Police Sangram Singh Nishandar investigating case says that the facts will come out only after postmortem and interrogation of the murderer is over.

So far the facts known are that the couple has a two year old son, they are living in a flat on the 14th floor of Nakshatra Towers for the past seven months and younger brother of Kote gave the information of his brother murdering his wife.  The information first was given by Girish Kote to his brother.  But his chopping part of the story was not volunteered by him to his brother.

The police were shocked to find the murdered woman cut into 4 pieces preserving 3 in the refrigerator and one in the bedroom.  Police are yet to ascertain the motive for the bizarre action of murder followed by chopping her body and preserving in the fridge apart from finding the weapon used in the crime.
