People are afraid of police. Would you accept this ?, so let me correct the sentence. People are afraid of guns in the hands of police. Yes, I know many accept this.

So a police who is supposed to help the public and to act as a proper security, must possess a gun in his hand. The intention behind that gun is not to kill people but just to create a fear for criminals. Without that gun, no one will actually respond to police sometimes, but the Norwegian police are carrying their operations without holding the gun over years.

Yes, without a bullet sound, without putting a finger on trigger, police are proving to be their best in Norway. Over a decade, only two people were shot and killed by the Norwegian police. For a question  asked of how can they manage few danger situations where the gun is necessary to kill, they answered that they will have a good coordination among them. Discuss with the group and take a decision that is accepted by everyone.

Without a weapon, from the past decade, except two, no others were killed and this shows the efficiency of Norwegian police. They do not believe in killing people, but a team work that is still moving them forward till date.
