NASA astronaut Sunita Williams is going to adopt a girl from Gujarat after she returns from the space expedition. Her Ahmeda based cousin confirmed this to the media. Sunita Williams is currently gearing up for leaving for space centre to work on a special mission. On her return she is expected to look into the formalities to adopt the girl. The sources said that Sunita was astonished at the rate of female infanticide in Gujarat and that's the reason why she wanted to adopt a girl.

In fact, sister of Sunita Williams, Dina is already getting ready for adopting a girl and Sunita wants to follow the footsteps.
