According to latest figures released by the World Health Organisation [WHO], Ebola, the deadly virus has killed 3091 people in West Africa so far and nearly 6,574 people are believed to be infected with the virus. Meanwhile, the UN Security Council has declared the Ebola outbreak as 'a threat to international peace and security.'
The efforts to contain are not up to the mark and a study recently revealed that if the virus is not restricted then the number of infected cases could reach 20,000 by the beginning of November. Cuba came forward for medical assistance. The country will be sending 300 doctors and 161 nurses who were specially trained to treat Ebola affected patients.
However, the good thing is the virus is not spreading across other countries.
