WHO's European Regional Director Hans Kluge told that the pandemic has thrown an unprecedented spotlight on the mental health of the people. The armed conflict of Ukraine war too has affected the mental health of the people. There is a huge uncertainty, insecurity and human loss because of the Russia and Ukraine war that started two months ago. The health care facilities in Ukraine are damaged badly and there are lakhs of people who could not have any access to the health services.
The neighboring nations of Ukraine are in high demand for the health services. There is a sudden rise for the people who are suffering with mental instability. The WHO expressed its concern about the food crisis raging in Ukraine and other nations. There is a scarcity for wheat grains all over the globe. On the other side, the new variant of Covid-19 also brought a rise in the new cases of coronavirus in countries like USA and the United Kingdom. A lot of people are infected with Covid-19 even after taking the booster dose of coronavirus. In India, there are health experts warning that the nation would head for a lockdown in June and July as there would be a huge rise in the new cases.
