Indian Omicron Cases Reach 101 From 11 States:- The Omicron fever is now all over India and a total number of 101 cases of the Omicron variant are reported in the country till date and they are located in 11 states. The Health Ministry warned the people to prevent traveling and warned that 19 districts of the country are at a higher risk. The Health Ministry asked the people to stay away from large crowds and gatherings in the coming days. The Health Ministry issued a dire threat after the new cases of the Omicron variant have seen a huge high in the recent weeks in several countries. 10 new cases of the Omicron variant are reported in New Delhi today and the total reached 22 in the national capital.
Maharashtra reported 32 Omicron cases while Rajasthan reported 17. Telangana and Karnataka states reported 8 cases each. The states of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Kerala reported the Omicron variant cases. Two cases reported in Maharashtra are young children: a 3-year-old boy and an 18-month-old girl. The Centre asked the states and the people to follow all the social distancing guidelines when they are in public and the facemask is made mandatory. All the foreign travelers arriving into the country will have to carry a negative RT-PCR test and quarantine is made mandatory for international travelers coming from some of the countries.
