Mumbai Indians, led by India’s batting wizard Sachin Tendulkar, hammered the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to post a magnificent 9 wicket victory in their league match encounter at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Tuesday in the on-going IPL season 4 cricket campaign.
Chasing a moderate target of 141, Mumbai Indians reached the target with nine balls to spare and recorded their second successive win in the season that began Friday last. Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Daredevils in their opening encounter three days ago at Delhi.
Tendulkar (55 not out, 46 balls, 7x4) and Ambati Rayudu (63 not out, 50 balls, 9x4) produced an undefeated 110-run second wicket partnership from 86 balls to romp home easily. Both Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore made no changes and fielded the same team that played their last match.
