Smith, Faulkner turn tables for RCB

Rajasthan Royals Steve Smith and James Faulker have turned the fortunes of Royal Challengers Bangalore who are desperate for a win. In the 35th match of IPL 7 RCB won the toss and chose to bat first. Captain Kohli and Gayle opened the batting however, both failed to give good start. Kohli and Gayle were removed for low scores and the first down batsman Zol too did not impress.

But it was Yuvraj Singh day out there and smashed 83 runs in a quick 38 balls. Yuvi was accompanied by AB de Villiers who too scored a half century and kept the scoreboard pinning high. RCB posted a total of 190 runs in their innings.

Chasing the massive total, Rajasthan Royals had a good start. RR openers Rahane and Nair took on the RCB bowlers. But then Rahane, RR captain Watson, Binny and Samson were dismissed quickly. Nair completed his half century but Yuvi took his wicket in the thirteenth over. The unexpected turn in the game started from 15th over as the batting side required 69 runs of last five overs. Smith and Faulker were in the crease. Both scored massively in each 16th, 17th and 18th over which made their team land on the winning side.
