Debutant director Sri Ram will direct a movie titled ‘Jagannayakudu’ that depicts the story of YSR congress chief YS Jaganmohan reddy post his father YSR’s death.
The film will cover the political journey of Jagan after the death of YSR and the problems he is facing in the changed circumstances. The star cast and crew of the film are yet to be finalized. Fans of the late YSR are the producers for this movie.
“The inspiration for the film is journey of the late YSR and its continuation by his son Jagan and it will cover all the incidents happening in political life of Jagan,” Sri Ram told journalists today in Hyderabad.
It might be mentioned that Puri Jagannath said that he would make a film on YSR with Rajasekhar and Jeevitha in the main roles but that never took off due to obvious reasons. Later, CC Reddy, the chairman of Visu consultants, launched a film with YSR and Brhamanandam but abandoned it after YSR death.
We will have to wait and see how far this new project would take off in the present circumstances.
