I think it is a funda of ‘filmy walaas’, of every department related to cinema to get highlighted at some point or the other. After Producers, Directors, Cinematographers, and lightmen, now, it is the Makeup Department that is creating unnecessary complications.

There is a Tamil film, under the production, Starring Udayanidhi Stalin and Andriya. The film is titled as ‘Oru Kanna, Oru Kannaadi’. Andriya is quite a familiar face. The Actress acted in ‘Yuganiki Okkadu’.

Being a Mumbai Heroine, Andriya has been accompanied for the shoot with her own Make up artist’s team. Now, local Tamil Makeup Artists have got annoyed with this and started boycotting from the shoot as they felt, they have been degraded, by giving importance to the Mumbai Waalaas. In order to resolve the issue, the producer had to take both Local and Andriya’s Makeup artists, pay for both of them and get the work done from the both.

Here, everyone is happy, but, the producer is at a stake. And, this is not a first time that Non local Makeup Artists are given a priority. Almost every Mumbai Heroine accompanies by her set of Makeup Artists ka team. The only difference here is, the producer took the Tantrums of the local Makeup artists.
