We get to see various interesting director - hero - heroine combinations on silver screen... some even create much of a hype in the industry... one of these would be the combo of director Shankar and Super Star Rajni Kanth... known for his choice of story lines and style of film making, Shankar has teamed up with Super Star Rajni Kanth and directed a thought provoking film like ‘Shivaji’… Shankar’s urge to work with Rajni was so much that ‘Robot’ has released in this combo after 'Shivaji’...

Both the films were commercially successful. Even after working in two films with the Super Star, this star director want to make another film with Rajni Kanth… rumors are out that Shankar is planning to make sequel for ‘Robot’ with Rajni… but, this director has to wait till September this year as Rajni’s fourth coming film, ‘Kocchaayidan’ would complete its shoot only by then.

It seems Rajni Kanth has also given his approval to act in Shankar’s directorial… so, if everything goes well, we can expect another entertainer from this combo… but, again a sequel of ‘Robot’? I suppose not many people would be happy with this idea though…
