Vijay Sethupathi Walks Out From Muralitharan Biopic:- Critically acclaimed actor Vijay Sethupathi was all excited to feature in 800, the biopic of legendary Srilankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan. Ever since the project got announced, there has been huge outrage across Tamil Nadu. Muralitharan himself tried to explain that he had nothing to do with the drift between Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka. With the outrage unstoppable, Vijay Sethupathi decided to call it a quit. Several politicians and celebrities made statements against Vijay Sethupathi asking him to walk out of the project.

Muralitharan himself too asked Vijay Sethupathi to quit from 800 after considering the hatred. Vijay Sethupathi said that there should be no unnecessary obstacles in his journey as an actor. On the other side, Muralitharan said that the film would be an inspiration for the future generations. The makers of 800 will decide on the lead actor soon. Vijay Sethupathi is making his comeback to Tollywood with Vaishnav Tej's debut film Uppena. He is the lead antagonist in the film that will release early next year.
