Vijay and Ajith heading for the Biggest Clash:- Tamil top actors Vijay and Ajith are testing their luck during Sankranthi with their respective films Varisu and Thunivu. The makers of these films are yet to announce the release dates of these films. There are talks that Thunivu will hit the screens on January 11th and the makers of Varisu had plans to release the film on January 12th, a day after Thunivu's release. But the latest update says that both Varisu and Thunivu will head for a clash directly. There are speculations that both these films will release on the same day and the release dates will be announced next week.

The distributors of both these films have blocked the theatres well in advance. Red Giant Movies will release Thunivu and Seven Screen Studio will release Varisu. The theatrical rights of both these films are valued at record prices. H Vinoth directed Thunivu and Boney Kapoor produced the action entertainer. Varisu is a family entertainer directed by Vamshi Paidipally and Dil Raju is the producer.
