Rescued NRI doctor in good condition

An NRI doctor who was abducted by Taliban in Afghanistan on December 6 was rescued by the forces. He was said to be okay. He would, however, return to the United States of America where he stays after a couple of days. Mr Dilip Joseph, the man in news, was an Indian by origin. He was settled in Colorado Springs and worked with Morning Star Development. Recently, he went to Afghanistan in order to train local medicos there. In a military operation there, Taliban held him captive.

In total, three persons were rescued-in a joint operation by US commandos and Afghanistan forces- out of which Dilip happens to be one. The identity of other two members was, however, not revealed by the forces, which conducted joint operation. The executive director of the company that Peter worked for said he had not spoken to Peter but heard he was in good condition.
