The North America Telugu Society (NATS) has concluded 3 days of festivities and celebrations organized as part of their 2013 Telugu Sambaralu. The event was conducted extraordinarily and is being touted as one of the best and most successful. NATS Sambaralu primarily focuses on regional talent.
About 7000 people have attended this large event, which also had the gracious presence of Shri Ganapathi Sachidananda Swamji and Sri Paripoorananda Swamiji. A large variety of programs entertained the audiences. The grand finale of SP Balasubramaniam's ETV US Paadutha Teeyaga was held amid great fanfare.
One of the most noted entertainer was a fusion of Classical and Western ragas created from a choice of multiple instruments. Several games and folk dances were also an integral part of the cultural event. Popular anchor Suma hosted Neti Mahila, a game show conducted by the Women’s forum. All programs, including a mimicry by Jeetendra and Siva, had the audiences' cheerful participation.
Along with Chief Guest Balakrishna, celebrities like Kajal Agrawal, Nisha Agrawal and Sudhir Babu attended the proceedings in Dallas. NATS Chairman Ranakumar Nadella announced that the next NATS Sambaralu will be held in LA, California in 2015.
