Vadra's involvement in DLF totally fabricated!

Robert Vadra the son-in-law of the Congress led UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and the hubby of Priyanka Gandhi was pulled into a controversy by the former Anna Hazare associate Arvind Kejriwal. It is known fact that Mr Kejriwal aspires political ambitions and on Friday had made an allegation against Mr Vadra over an underhand dealings with the nation's largest real estate company DLF. The corporate issued a public statement on Saturday denying the whole issue as a fabricated one.

The company clarified its stands as the issue is false with a statement. In this DLF categorically denied of any unsecured loans to Vadra or any of his companies. It said that an amount of Rs 65 Cr was given as business advances for the purchase of land "as per standard industry practice" for two projects of Rs 50 Cr and Rs 15 Cr, respectively, of which the latter was refunded as DLF decided against the purchase.

The real estate further clarified that at no stage was a interest free loan ever given to the Skylight group (Mr Vadra's companies). The conglomerate also added that Vadra and his companies had purchased several apartments, but these were bought at market rates. This should keep the Vadra's group out of troubled waters for the time being. But  have to wait and see what Mr Kejriwal will say on the issue, say critics. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
