Tension gripped the village Choudaryguda of Samshabad Mandalam in Rangareddy district on the outskirts of Hyderabad today as Telangana activists stopped the shooting of the movie ‘Poolarangadu’ portrayed by the popular comedian-hero Sunil.

The activists, who suddenly barged onto the shooting spot near the village, asked the production unit to cancel the shooting and told them not to conduct shootings in Telangana area till justice is done to the Tollywood artistes of the Telangana area.

The villagers however took objection to the behaviour of the T activists and said they would allow shooting in their village for its development. Expressing anger at the behaviour of the Telangana activists, the villagers clashed with them leading to tension in the area.

On hearing the news, police reached the spot and chased away both the groups. In the last, the unit packed off and left the spot with out completing the schedule for the day.
