The reported remarks of Eluru MP Mr Kavuri Sambasiva rao that Telangana leaders can’t stick to their resignations even for ten minutes have led to a storm in the congress party with T congress ministers taking objection to his comments and T congress MPs conducting a meeting to decide their future course of action.

Addressing a media conference in Hyderabad in the assembly premises today, Ministers Komatireddy Rajagopal reddy and Basava raju Saraiah asked Kavuri to tender an apology to the Telangana leaders and people for his remarks.

“Who is he to ask us to resign? We are not here to resign whenever he demands, “the ministers said and added that the remarks of Kavuri seem to be provoking the sentiments of the Telangana people.

It may be mentioned that the minister Jupalli Krishna rao has already resigned taking seriously the remarks of Kavuri. Nalgonda MP Gutta Suhendar reddy hinted he would take a decision on his resignation after discussing the issue with his followers in the constituency.

T ministers meet

Meanwhile, ministers of the T region today met in the chambers of the Panchayat Raj minister Jana reddy and discussed their future course of action in the wake of the provoking remarks of Kavuri.

In another development, T congress MPs met at the residence of Minister Komatireddy Raja gopal reddy and took stock of the situation.

The Ministers and MPs seem be waiting for the out come of the resignation of Jupalli Krishana Rao for taking a decision on their resignation.
