Media takes sides in campaign on Sai Trust

mediaWhile the popular Telugu daily Andhra Jyothy continues to reveal more conspiracies surrounding the world famous spiritual Guru Sri Satya Sai Baba allegedly hatched out by the Satya Sai Central Trust members, especially the Trust Secretary Mr Chakravarthy, and alleges that the Baba has turned himself into a skeleton after reducing to just 40 Kg of weight, a pro-Chakravarthy campaign has just been launched by a section of the media.

With the Times of India publishing a prominent story today alleging that the former TTD chairman Mr DK Adikesavula Naidu has joined hands with one Srinivas, a Bangalore based former member of the Trust and Mr Ratnakar, member of the Trust Board and son of Satya Sai’s brother Janakiramaiah in an effort to take over the management of the Trust, it is now certain that the two groups in the Sai Central Trust have launched their proxy war through the media.

The Times of India story says that a well orchestrated plan is being implemented by the pro-Adikesavulu Naidu group to tarnish the image of the Trust members such as Mr Chakravarthy and others.

Till now, Andhra Jyothy has tried to focus on the wrong doings of Chakravarthy and others but the Times story comes as a rebuttal of the points being raised by the Telugu daily. The media seems to have fallen into a trap thrown up the two groups in the Trust ruling the kingdom of Sri Sai.

What is unfortunate is that the entire media, which should have commonly taken upon itself the responsibility of digging out the truth lurking a round the Baba’s health, it has decided to become a prey to the politics of the Sai Central Trust members.
