Ahead of the possible expulsion of senior leader of the T region Mr Nagam Janardhan reddy from the TDP, Parigi TDP MLA of the Ranga Reddy district Mr. Hariswara Reddy said today he would stand by him in case he is expelled by the party leadership.
Speaking to media persons in the TDLP office in Hyderabad, Hariswara reddy said he hoped that the leadership would not initiate any action against Nagam Janardhan reddy. “I am sure they won’t take any action against him. But, if the party expels him, I will also go out of the party and stand by him,” he said.
He asserted that they would neither join any party nor launch a new political party but will fight for the creation of Telangana state on their own.
However, Hariswara reddy requested the party chief Chandrababu Naidu to have second thoughts on taking action against Nagam. “I think if Chandrababu calls him and talks to him, the issue will be resolved once and for all,” he said.
Meanwhile, Nagam also defended his actions saying he did not indulge in any anti party activity and was only following a path shown by the TDP. “What crime did I commit to qualify for the expulsion? Had the party not adopted a resolution in the past in support of the Telangana state?” he asked.
