Sridhar Babu: Political drama by TDP

The Andhra Pradesh Minister for Civil Supplies and Legislative Affairs D Sirdhar Babu slammed the Telugu Desam Party of putting up a political drama in the assembly. The assembly was adjourned for the second consecutive day, today.

He spoke to the media, at the assembly premises, today.  He said the TDP members were voicing dual opinions. He also said the notice issued by the TDP had no reasons explained in it. The notice was for no confidence motion to be set against the ruling government. He said the notice was a one liner.

He further said the TDP was in a dual mind as some supporters raised slogans for the no confidence motion while others raised slogans demanding separate Telangana. He concluded that the government is ready to discuss on any issue, even about steps taken up for famine and drought.

The day two of the winter assembly session had to be adjourned too, owing to chaotic situation created by the oppositions. The second day today also had closed without transacting any business due agitated members pressing their demands, surrounded the Speaker’s podium.
