The government today finalized the names of chief whip and whips of congress legislature party in the assembly today.

As expected Mr Gandra Venkataramana Reddy, who aspired for ministerial berth in the cabinet, was appointed as the chief whip of the ruling party. Arepalli Mohan, Toorpu Jayaprakash Reddy, Anil, Dronamraju Srinivas and Perni Nani were appointed as the whips of the government.

Anil belonged to the Telangana area and had been a PRP member before the party merged with the congress. (JUBS)
