Hyderabad people have all smiles on their faces on Tuesday evening as sudden rain turned the hot atmosphere into a cool one. Youths were found biking on roads to enjoy the cool breeze while road side chai and chat shops were crowded with people.
It may be noted the Hyderabad will definitely be in news in summer for soaring temperature every summer. This summer is no exception as mercury dipped like never people. People find it very tough to manage the heat and search for various eateries such as water melons and ice cream to beat the heat. The situation is vice versa today as people are rushing to purchase hot-hot samosas and mirchis.
When asked a kachori vendor he said: “I am glad that rain visited the city today. Not only the atmosphere changed and cooled down my body, but this rain also fetched huge profits for my business. People have been bee lining at my shop to have hot kachoris and enjoying eating them in pleasant atmosphere. “ On the other hand, school children returning from to their schools were spotted shouting in excitement at several places.
Rain might just be a normal thing for people living in many parts of the country. But, it is definitely a thing of joy for all Hyderabadis who sweat to the core for three continuous months starting March. (Phani) (exclusive)
