Virasam (association of revolutionary writers) leader Varavara Rao has today demanded the government to stop the Green Hunt operation. He said this in a public meet in Hyderabad today. He has inaugurated the posture of the first all India meeting of Revolutionary Democratic Front.

These meetings will be held on April 23 and 23. Many eminent scholars, writers and political personalities are likely to take part in these events.  They include social activist, Arundati Roy, speaker Amith Bhattacharya, Soma Sen, Anand Theltumde and Bojja Tharaka.

Talking about the meeting, Varavara Rao has said that a huge rally would be taken out from Indira Park to Sundarayya Park before inaugurating the ceremony.

Varavara Rao has said that several matters would come for discussion during the two-day meet that include the demand to call back the beefed up armed forces in Bastar of Chattisgarh.

We still don’t have any information whether the permission has been granted for the huge rally that Varavara Rao indicated. In the wake of bypolls in the state, the upcoming meet of Revolutionary Democratic Front would presumably not be safe for the ruling party in the state.(Phani)
