The TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu who earlier labeled himself as the hitech CM is promising series of packages to farmers. Babu who is campaigning for the by-polls has told the farmers that he would giving special packages to them. He has also said that minimum support price would be given to all farmers who had been facing tough time selling their grains and other products.

Presumably electoral vows are nothing new to Chandrababu Naidu. He earlier made many such promises and now that he's stating he would be giving so many boons to farmers. How does he think that farmers will trust him. It was Chandrababu Naidu who earlier completed neglected farmers and drew their wrath in 2004 elections. And that negligence towards farmers is what made Congress come out with flying colours. Several reports indicated that in case TDP gets votes, it will be from caste bank votes and the employees of IT sector as many people might forget what Babu did but software employees in Hi-Tech city still have a soft corner for Chandrababu Naidu. And Chandrababu  Naidu should try and concentrate more on attracting the youths as scores of votes by youths are enough for the party to bring it back to power in 2014. But, the party seems to the looking at the current by-polls first and neglecting the glorious future that’s round the corner.
