Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, who met union finance minister Chidambaram and Gulam Nabi Azad, is scheduled to meet prime minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Friday. The sources said CM discussed several burning issues especially on the electricity shortage and the cheating case filed against him by a TDP leader for not fulfilling the promise of providing seven hours of continuous electricity supply to farmers. CM, however, didn't confirm anything so far as to what he spoke to Chidambaram or the agenda of his Delhi tour.

Tomorrow, the sources said, Kiran might not only explain the electricity shortage but even ask Centre to intervene on this. Also, Kiran earlier said in an interview to a national news agency that Centre should decide on Telangana soon. So, the Centre is likely to question CM on this too, said sources. Some political observers, on the other hand, speculated that there would be a change in the leadership soon.
