YSR Congress party has called for a state wide bandh tomorrow against the electricity cuts in the state. The party leaders have urged the people in the state to make the bandh a success. While private school associations in Hyderabad already made it clear that schools would function even under police security, the bandh might not evoke good response in Hyderabad. Earlier too, YSRC gave state wide bandh, which evoked good response in almost all areas of the state except in Telangana region given that people residing in Telangana region were apparently not happy with Jagan holding a placard in support of unified state in Lok Sabha long back. So, the observers said tomorrow's YSRC bandh would most likely received grim response.
On the other hand, the sources said the government was ensuring that this bandh should be successful since it was apparently aimed at cornering the ruling party despite government reportedly stressing that there's had been acute power crisis in the state. The sources have also said that tomorrow would be a good opportunity for YSRC to prove its strength in Telanagana region. So, in case bandh evokes good response in Hyderabad, then it will be proved that YSRC undoubtedly has strong hold in Hyderabad.
