TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his anguish over the government for its alleged insensitive approach towards the problems of the public in the state. Babu has said that he was not getting sleep on looking at the problems of the public and questioned as to how the people in the power were able to get sound sleep. It may be noted that Chandrababu Naidu was at Shirpi of Anantapur district as a part of his padayatra when he made these comments. He has also said that people in power should behave like trustees to the public properties.

Chandrababu Naidu also gave certain vows to the public. He has promised to allot Rs. 1500 pension to the physically challenged. He even heard the problems of the public. Reportedly, many women complained to him that they took loans under pavala runam (25 paise interest) during YSR regime and now they were paying up to two rupees towards interest. Chandrababu Naidu has assured that it would help everyone in case it forms the government.
