In his Vastunna Meekosam Padayatra, Telugu Desam Party leader, Chandrababu Naidu blamed the Congress for taking the state to a pathetic condition. He accused them of not utilizing the funds for the poor people who were the most deserving, though they had enough funds in the exchequer.

In his tour on foot which is currently in Jagityala, Karimnagar, he said talking to the people that it was only his party, TDP that fought against the Babli project. Lashing out at the poor governance in the state where there was the burden of taxes on the people while they are not benefited with the money they pay as taxes he said that the prices of all the basic commodities were rising indefinitely while they should have been reducing.

Fighting for the farmers he said, while the farmers were not earning the money they spent on farming while selling their crop, the government is increasing the prices of Urea. Apart from that they have also added surcharges on electricity bills, he lamented.
