"Telangana wouldn't receive one rupee in developments. I will not fear anyone and I shall not run away if someone threatens me. I know how much to allocate to each region", an angry Kiran Kumar Reddy was heard saying in the Assembly after TRS leader Harishwar Rao made a few controversial remarks. The TRS leader said that they were being as a united state has hurt Telangana so much that they received little attention. He blamed that the water was being diverted to Chittoor district causing problem in Telangana.
Kiran Kumar Reddy was also irate over Harishwar Rao's comments of holding the collar to get a medical college in Telangana. The issue was later resolved after the TRS leader withdrew his statement. He assured that he was born and raised in Hyderabad himself and was not neglecting the region. He told them that Telangana received a tractor manufacturing unit and also an aerospace spare parts manufacturing industry. He was unhappy that Harishwar Rao selfishly questioned his motive of providing a starving Chittoor with water. He said, that with many students participating in the Telangana protests was one of the reasons T- students were not being selected for reputed instututes and jobs.
Etala Rajender of TRS was also unhappy with Kiran Kumar's way of addressing the issue. He reminded the CM that they were all servants of the public. He said that the CM should be ashamed to insinuate that he "knew what to do and what not to do". It is not acceptable that a CM says, "I have not become a CM with your grace. I shall not bow down to fear and serve the people", he added. He demanded that Kiran Kumar apologize for saying that Telangana will receive nothing.
